Notes:
Plutonium is a radioactive, silvery colored metal that is used in nuclear
reactors (fuel) and nuclear weapons. It is warm from alpha decay. It takes on
yellow tarnish in air. Plutonium and elements of higher atomic number are
radiological poisons because of high alpha emission and specific absorption in
bone marrow. It has six allotropic forms.
